Located in Beaumont, Texas, Jack Brooks Regional Airport is the ninth busiest airport in Texas and eighteenth busiest airport in the United States. The airport serves as a major transportation hub for the region with scheduled flights to over sixty destinations. The airport was opened in 1964 and has undergone numerous renovations and expansions over the years. In 2010, the airport was renamed after Jack Brooks, who served as the mayor of Beaumont from 1977 to 1981.
